 Our goal is to be a reliable network of information and support for all families across the Grey/Bruce area. Citizens who have a connection to autism including families, children, adults on the spectrum, caregivers, support workers and teachers.

SEPT 26, 2020 - SAUBLE BEACH, ON


On Sept 26th join us for beautiful day in Sauble Beach for a round of golf followed by dinner, raffle and live auction. This is a non profit event and all proceeds are in support of our local autism community. From the 50/50 ball drop, raffle items, silent auction and welcoming crowd, we are looking forward to our 2nd annual golf tourney and hope you can join us. 

All funds from this tournament provide support and education on Autism throughout the Grey-Bruce communities.

Families For Autism along with the Meaford Fire Department are proud to host a Sensory Friendly Fire Hall Visit!

Families are invited to meet their local Fire Fighters, EMS, and OPP - check out their uniforms & gear, and participate in activities such as seeing the fire station, and doing a truck / ambulance / cruiser tour in a relaxed and controlled setting.

This is a complimentary event however registration is requested so we can estimate participation.

We are excited to announce a portion of proceeds from our 2019 golf tournament were used to purchase 22 sensory kits to distribute to local Grey Bruce Fire Departments. along with training for First Responders.

A portion of the proceeds from our 2019 Golf Tournament was used to bring a instructor up from the Geneva Centre For Autism in Toronto to teach a local 2 day certificate course on ABA tactics last October.  22 local families and educators benefited from this opportunity. We look forward to offering more complimentary workshops and learning opportunities in the future.

Weighted stuffies & lap blankets  have made their way to new homes at local Grey Bruce schools, child care centres and families. This was made possible by funds raised from our 2019 Golf Tournament and the help of You Too who donated the fabrics and her time!
